Pastor Gustav was appointed as the Honorary Chaplain of the Louisiana House of Representatives on his trip to America in April 2003. He was asked to do the opening prayer of the Louisiana House of Representatives. He was commended by Mr. Gary J. Beard State Representative for the work that he devotes himself to.
